Prof. David Olaleye and Dr. Georgina Odaibo, both from UCH, brought 200 DNA samples to the Kanki Lab at HSPH to do the PCR and DNA sequencing reactions to characterize subtypes present in Oyo State as part of their program on "HIV Surveillance of High Risk Groups in Oyo State." Dr. Odaibo is loading the gel to analyze the PCR products and Prof. Olaleye is setting up a sequencing reaction in a thermal cycler.
